These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile applications (the "Apps") and website keichau.com (together, the "Services") operated by KEICHAU TECHNOLOGY LIMITED ("we", "us" or "our"). By downloading, installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Use of the Services

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Apps for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained them.

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Services;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Apps, except where permitted by law;
• use the Services in any way that is unlawful, harmful or infringes the rights of others;
• interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services.

2. Measurement Tools Disclaimer

Some of our Apps provide measurement features (such as level, angle and AR distance measurement) that rely on device sensors and cameras. These features are provided for general reference and convenience only. Accuracy varies by device and conditions. Do not rely on the Apps for measurements where precision matters — including construction, engineering, safety-critical or professional applications. Always verify with a dedicated instrument.

3. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics and logos, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The Services may display advertising and may rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for third-party websites, products or services linked from the Services.

5. Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for doing so.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KEICHAU TECHNOLOGY LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Services. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us (if any) for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

9. Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, the licence granted to you ends and you must stop using the Apps.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
